One day, as usual, Time was taking the MRT to school. Seeing there was only one seat left, he didn’t care if it was a priority seat but sat down without hesitation. Soon after, an old man walked in at a slow pace, standing beside Tim. Although noticing the man was in need and all the other passengers were staring at him, Tim still chose to focus on playing his mobile phone. It was not until a business man, who couldn’t tolerate anymore, asked Tim to yield the seat to the old man did he stand up reluctantly.

Tim kept grumbling about the incident the whole day, even when he was playing basketball at school. However, since he was paying too much attention on complaining, he didn’t watch out where the ball was. “Ouch!” Tim cried out painfully, as he slipped down on the court because of stepping on the ball carelessly. He tried hard to stand up, but his ankle was injured so seriously that he soon gave up. Unfortunately, he couldn’t walk normally without assisting objects.

On the way home by taking the MRT, Tim found out that there was no vacant priority seat. Frustrated of that, he then saw a girl seemingly at the same age with him, was occupying the seat in front of him. Feeling ashamed of the girl’s behavior, he simultaneously recalled what he had done in the morning and realized it was definitely his faults. Later, Tim asked the girl if he could have the seat angrily because he was disabled. Unwillingly, the girl stopped reading and strode away angrily. Tim was shocked, thinking it was no doubt that the girl should yield the seat but she acted as if he were the person who was wrong. He finally sympathized with the old man, whom he had done something awful to.

Since then, Tim never occupied priority seats unless he was really in need. Moreover, when seeing others who was unreasonably sitting on the seats, he would jumped out as a symbol of justice, asking them to yield the seat to those in need, which made him gleeful to his heart content.
