A thousand-year-old flour mill has come back to life after it had

The water-powered mill was built around the year 1000. It was (2) rebuilt in 1556, and new
equipment was added in 1904. The mill produced (3) commercial flour until 1970. After that, it was turned
into a (4) historical museum.
Since then, it has produced small (5)
amounts of flour to teach the old production methods to visitors. But
with the recent crisis, grocery stores have (6) run out of (: have used up) everyday (: daily) supplies, and more people are
cooking at home. Thus, the mill’s (7)
managers decided to help people get the flour that they needed.
Some of the people who have been shopping at the mill say they are
learning to bake bread at home. By going back (: By returning) to (8) basics, they’re living (: leading) a little bit like the mill’s
first customers (who lived) a thousand years ago.
