11/19  Black Lives Matter

    Large ____ (protests/prevents/protects) have ___(popped/pops/pop/popping) up around the world ____ (recent/recently).  This ___ (exercise/movement/entertainment/enforcement/treatment) began because a Black man ___ (name/names/named/naming) George Floyd ___ (murder/murders/murdered/was murdering/was murdered) by police in the US.  ___ (Many/Much) people believe that Floyd ___ (treat/treats/treated/was treated) so terribly for racial reasons. 

    Black people in the US ____(suppose/suffer/support) ___ (many/much) problems.  They deal with ___(equal/unequal/impartial/just/fair) treatment __ (in/on/at) education, jobs, and law enforcement.  ___ (However/Moreover/Hence), ___ (this/these) problems (: issues) do not merely (: only/simply/just) ___ (exist/exit) in ____ (America/American) culture.  


    "Anti-Blackness" is ___ (that/when) Black people and Black culture are (being) ___(treat/treats/treated/treating) ___ (negative/negatively).  It is ____(experience/experiences/experienced) all over (: around/throughout) the world.  ___ (At/In) Taiwan and __ ___ ___ (其餘的: the rest of) Asia, ___ (many/much) Black foreigners tackle (: deal with/handle) ___ (tissues/issues/topic/subject/theme/problem) that white foreigners don't have.  Schools often refuse (: reject) to ___ (fire/hire: take on) Black teachers because they believe white teachers are ___ (better/superior) to black ones.  ___ (Many/Much) Black people also have experiences of ___ (been/be/being) treated ___ (rude/rudely) or aggressively openly (: _in__  public).

     ___ (Lot/Plenty/Much) music and fashion Taiwanese people enjoy ___ (is invented/was inventing/were inventing/was invented/were invented) by Black people from around the world (: from far and wide).  Hip-pop has ___ (root/roots) in very poor US ___ (items; goods; products; commodities/communities) ___ (like/such as) the Bronx in New York City.  This music ___(was creating/was created) to ___ (life/lift) people up.  Hip-hop still has that ___ (historic/historical) importance (: plays an important role in history) for ___ (many/much) Black people.
